The world’s top five three-cushion billiard players will be among 149 players from 19 countries competing in the third World Cup of 2016 to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from May 16 to 22. Torbjörn Blomdahl of Sweden, Daniel Sanchez of Spain, Dick Jaspers of the Netherlands and Frédéric Caudron & Eddy Merckx of Belgium will be joined by 34 players from Vietnam and 54 players from Korea the two largest country contingents.

The final World Cup tournament of 2015 will start Sunday, December 13 in Hurghada, Egypt. The event will determine the overall winner of the world cup series for the year. The Hurghahda World Cup has attracted a field of 149 players all determined to gain as many ranking points as they can in the last UMB event of 2015.

On Friday November 20th through Sunday November 22nd the 3rd Lausanne Billiard Masters (LBM) will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland. If past installments of this prestigious invitational are any indication we just might see a preview of the future winner of the upcoming 2015 World 3-Cushion Championship!

The biggest 3-Cushion Billiards event of 2015, the 68th World Championship, comes to the city of Bordeaux, France December 1-5. The UMB has announced the 48 players inscribed into the event as well as the sixteen 3-man groups for the Qualification round.

The fifth World Cup event of 2015 will be held in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The event begins with early qualification rounds Monday October 12th and will run until Sunday October 18th.
