The up and coming group of Vietnamese players has a new champion for 2015. Vinh Ly The easily defeated Quyet Chien Tran 40-14 (21 innings, 1.904 average) with multiple high runs of 10 and 11 to take the title.

In a stunning exhibition of skill and artistry Jeremy Bury, the number one ranked player in France, once again earned the title of National Champion of France in 3-Cushion Billiards. In the final match against Jean Reverchon in the 2015 event it was Bury all the way winning 40-7 in 14 innings (2.857 average, high run of 10.) The earlier stages were tougher for Bury who lost one match and later faced former champion Jean-Christophe Roux. But Bury rose to the occasion and only seemed to get stronger on his way to a 1.685 tournament average and the title.

Nikos Polychronopoulos continues his reign as 3-Cushion Billiard National Champion of Greece by winning the two tournaments that represent the championship series. His overall average of 1.690 was also best with a hugh run of 15 for the tournament.

Haeng-Jik Kim topped the field in a series of ten ranking tournaments to earn the number one position and the title of Korean National Champion for 2015.

Javier Vera has won the 3-cushion national title of Mexico for the fourth consecutive time.

The European title is back in the hands of one of the greatest players the game has ever known. 52-year old Torbjörn Blomdahl of Sweden defeated Eddy Merckx of Belgium in the final match to be crowned champion. A standing ovation from the crowd was the winner's reward, as he walked through the arena acknowledging the applause of his fans.
