RESULTS FOR THE KEN HIGGINS MEMORIAL
March 4, 5, 6th, 2016 beginning at 9:00 AM
Entry Fee is $ 80.00 including USBA Fee of $10
Deadline for confirmed entry is February 25th which means
Your money is received or guaranteed with Ed Brasfield
by that date. 21 Players is the maximum, over 18 players will be three flights.
The format will be Handicap based upon USBA Billiards per Inning Standards.
The prize funds will go to the players less $25 to USBA and TBF. Special prize for High Runs! USBA Membership is required, or pay one-time fee of $25.

2016 USBA Ken Higgins Memorial Handicap Tourney
Standard USBA Rules of Play apply
Innings will be accurately kept for each game by loser of the lag
Each Player is assigned a handicap based upon USBA BPI Standards, or one assigned by the Tournament Chairman
Each player begins the game by placing their Handicap on the String, and both players will play to 30 points on the string
There will be a “Finals” for the top finishers, from each division, two from each flight, played on Sunday Morning.
The Game in your flight counts in the finals, thus each player in the Finals will play the two from the other flights
In the case of a Tie in the Flights, the results from the flight will determine which advances, Wins, Losses, Percentage of maximum actual points scored, Head to Head, and Fewest Points Scored against will determine the Tie-Breaker
There are two Prize Pools one for C/C+ and one for B/B+/A determined by number of entries. Subject to revision.
The ideas from the Committee were developed for you with the idea of encouraging more of these Tourneys with the Handicaps providing a more equal chance for all to finish in the money. Handicaps will be revised prior to each Tourney for those that participated to insure fairness.
A= 0 B+= 5; B= 9; C+= 13; C = 15; these are added to the players string at start of the game
