Felipe Razon Leon, a mainstay of the Chicago 3-C scene, died suddenly on December 3, 2020, a month short of his 56th birthday.
Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Felipe was a strong player, with an average just below 1.000. He participated in many USBA tournaments, including the nationals. He recently took 3rd place in a tournament at Chris’s Billiards.
Felipe owned a masonry business, and he operated a small billiard room on the southside of Chicago for a time. He then had an ownership interest in Chris’s Billiards. Funeral services will be held on December 10 at Martinez Funeral Home. His remains will then be transported to Mexico to be interred in the Cementerio Municipal Teocaltiche in Jalisco.
Rest in peace dear friend.
